Pieter van Dijk, Artistic Director of ECHO Alkmaar, has recorded three additional videos featuring music by G.F. Kauffmann to complement the two tutorials “G.F. Kauffmann’s Harmonische Seelenlust as a reference and interpretation key for the organ music of J.S. Bach’s Leipzig period.”
Naturally, these videos were recorded on the magnificent historical 1646/1725 Van Hagerbeer/Schnitger organ in Alkmaar — one of Europe’s most celebrated Baroque instruments.
