ECHO is thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our Young Ambassador & ECHO Organist of 2024 Luca Akaeda Santesson! Starting this September, Luca will serve for one year as Organist in Residence at the renowned Sapporo Concert Hall “Kitara” in Japan.
During this residency, Luca will perform solo recitals in Sapporo and throughout Japan, record a CD, collaborate with orchestras, choirs, and chamber ensembles, and contribute artistically through interviews, program notes, and more.
At ECHO, we are proud to see our Young Ambassadors bringing the beauty of the organ to audiences around the globe. Luca’s appointment is a shining example of how young talent helps to keep the organ tradition alive and vibrant — and we couldn’t be happier.
