History
The organ of Launaguet was installed in 1897 by Théodore Puget & Son. It is one of the earliest instruments built with a tubular-pneumatic system. The organ retained its original design until 1984.
At the request of Yves Bro, the Launaguet town council decided to undertake a restoration. The organ was fully restored and returned to working order** by Dominique Leboucher between 1984 and 1987.
The instrument’s pneumatic action was preserved, but updated using a more reliable mechanism.
