TRUSZCZYŃSKI
Paulinian Monastery "On the Rock" Krakow
Organ details
History
In the years 1761/1762 Józef Weismann built an organ for the Kościół Paulinów na Skalce in Kraków with a beautiful Baroque front. The church itself was dedicated in 1751. Possibly only the organ case is the work of Weismann. The organ probably had one manual with ten stops, and an independent pedal with four stops. In 1914 Kazimierz Żebrowski built a new pneumatic organ in the old case, with two manuals and eighteen stops. In 1971 the disposition was adapted by Henryk Siedlar.
Włodzimierz Truszczyński built a new mechanical organ with 24 stops in the old case in 1984. Ten stops were taken from Żebrowski's organ. (orgbase.nl)
