A complete recording of Coelho's Flores de musica has become a reality! The British label Inventa Records (Resonus Classics) will produce the 6 CDs and the first volume, including one of the tentos and several liturgical works played by Sérgio SIlva on the historic organ of Elvas Cathedral (Coelho's hometown), was released last October, see resonusclassics.com.
The collection will feature three organists (André Ferreira, Sérgio SIlva and João Vaz), two harpsichordists (Ana Mafalda Castro and Miguel Jalôto), one clavichordist (Marco Brescia) and one harpist (Maria Bayley). All the players will use the ECHOM edition, see utorpheus.com.
