On the initiative of Yoann Tardivel, Toulouse les Orgues presented in their 2023 festival a transcription based on Francis Poulenc's piano version of "La Voix Humaine" on a text by Jean Cocteau, an opera about the spite of love, which finds a new scope and unexpected resonances under the vaults of a church. A stunning musical duet with soprano Anne-Catherine Gillet in the role of the jilted lover and Yoann Tardivel on the 2004 Daldosso organ. Do enjoy the four minute flashback.
