Since 2015, the Friends of the Arenberg Castle Ruins have organized the Aremberger Hofmusik, an annual concert featuring the now permanent ensemble of the same name: Aremberger Hofmusik! For the first time, they will perform in Leuven, presenting a concert of works from the rich Arenberg collection. The performers include Almut Nikolayczik (Baroque violin), Ulrike Friedrich (traverso flute), Robert Nikolayczik (Baroque cello), and Professor Johannes Geffert (harpsichord and organ).

Castles, noble families, forests, hunting, leisure, music... it all belongs together. Naturally, the noble lifestyle also includes the resounding call of hunting horns, which have been associated for centuries with the French chasse à courre or long horse-mounted hunts.

Around 50 years ago, a group of friends from Leuven founded a musical circle dedicated to the tradition of hunting horns. In 1983, the group changed its name to *Jachtmeesters van Arenberg* with the approval of Prince Jean of Arenberg, who also granted permission to incorporate the Arenberg family coat of arms into the group's emblem. A few years later, his son, Prince Leopold of Arenberg, accepted the honorary chairmanship of the association.
