Chiesa di San Leonardo Treviso

Organ details

History

The organ, built by Gaetano Callido in 1787, is located in the choir loft above the main door of the church and enclosed in a neo-classical case. Except for a few slight alterations, it reached our times in its original condition. Unfortunately, some decades ago a fire broke out in the church causing it to be considerably damaged. After renovation by the organ-builder Francesco Zanin from Codroipo in 1996, the organ has been returned to total efficiency with its original qualities of sound.
