Organ details

History

Located in the choir loft above the main door and enclosed in a sound case the organ was built by the firm Pugina of Padua in 1883, following the trends that characterised Italian organbuilding in that period, aimed at complying with the most up-to-date experience whilst at the same time remaining faithful to tradition. In 1903 the firm Aletti from Monza modernised the instrument, confirming the innovative trends. Renovation was carried out in 1997 by the organbuilder Francesco Zanin from Codroipo who, with his work on the transmission and acoustics, enhanced the quality of the instrument and made use of its latent possibilities whilst respecting its fundamental original character.
