Organ details

History

This organ was built by Gaetano Zanfretta and Sons from Verona, in 1892. It is located in the choir loft above the main door and enclosed in a neo-gothic sound case. The instrument has reached our times after having been abandoned for over ten years. Besides evident original defects, it was also deprived of all the reed stops, the Flauto Traverso of the Expressive Organ, the Piccolo of the Grand Organ and the pedal operating mechanisms. It was renovated in 2000 by the organbuilder Francesco Zanin from Codroipo, who restored it to its original condition.
