Annual Meeting

Fribourg, 27 & 28 September

On September 27th and 28th, ECHO members were warmly welcomed by the current Chair, the city of Fribourg. Over the course of two days, intensive meetings were held, during which key decisions were made to ensure ECHO's future growth and stability. Notably, it was decided that Altenburg will assume the role of Chair in 2025, Mafra in 2026, and Trondheim in 2027.

Additionally, the supporting structure, including an expanded secretariat, a General Coordinator, and a Communications Manager, has been secured for the next three years.

The Young Ambassadors have been given the space to grow, and they immediately seized the opportunity by proposing the creation of an Academy in Brussels, scheduled for early February. It's clear that a fresh and powerful energy is sweeping through ECHO, and more updates will follow soon.

Fortunately, it wasn’t all meetings! The Artistic Directors showcased their brilliance on Fribourg's historic organs. It was truly a delight to witness such talent coming together in collaboration.

A heartfelt thanks to Maurizio Croci and Laurent Dietrich for their efficient work throughout Fribourg's presidency!

But for now, let's enjoy the coming organ festivals in Toulouse and Gothenburg.
