From 8 to 11 July 2026, Leuven will host the next ECHO “Jehan Crinon” Organ Competition, featuring performances on two exceptional instruments: the Goltfuss (1692) and Contius (2022) organs.
Open to organists born after 30 June 1996, the competition includes three rounds — preselection by recording, live performances on both organs, and a final round with up to six finalists.
The international jury includes Bernard Foccroulle, Juan-Maria Pedrero, Bine Bryndorf, Luc Ponet, and Aurore Baal.
Prizes:
* 1st Prize: “ECHO Young Organist 2027” title, €5,000, and six concerts
* 2nd Prize: €2,000 and four concerts
* 3rd Prize: €1,000 and two concerts
* Public Prize: to be announced
