David Boos and Tomáš Baršváry present their second documentary as part of their ongoing collaboration, once again turning the spotlight on a remarkable aspect of historic organ culture. This new film is dedicated to the unique Zinck stop of the 1624 Scherer organ in Tangermünde.
The Zinck is a reconstruction based on descriptions by Praetorius and reveals a highly distinctive and rarely heard sound world. It is a sound to be discovered, appreciated, and cherished.
Following the strong and enthusiastic reception of their first joint documentary, there is little doubt that this second production will be met with the same interest and acclaim. An inspiring continuation of a collaboration that clearly strikes a chord.
